Visiting a Cemetery
Our cemeteries are places of remembrance and reflection. To help keep them safe, peaceful, and well-maintained, we ask visitors to please follow these guidelines:
- Children must be supervised at all times, as monuments may be unstable and the ground uneven.
- Planting trees or shrubs on or near graves is not allowed.
- Only authorised Council officers may open the ground for burial.
- Any works within the cemetery require prior Council approval.
- Dogs must remain on a lead at all times. Please clean up after them.
- Only one floral tribute or adornment is permitted per site to ensure the cemetery remains tidy.
